Sustainability Step – For a sustainable tourism industry in West Sweden
For us at Brålands Gård, it’s natural to work sustainably. We aim to pass on the farm to the next generation with at least as good conditions as we ourselves have received. Below are some concrete examples of how we work with sustainability:

» We have our own solar panel system that supplies the farm with green electricity. Currently, we produce more electricity than we consume on an annual basis.

» We have plenty of charging stations for electric cars.

» We have several waste sorting stations for our guests, and we sort all of our own waste on the farm.

» We hire local staff from our surrounding area.

» We use local craftsmen and contractors for renovations, etc.

» On the farm, we grow berries, fruit, and vegetables for ourselves and our guests.

» We have water-saving taps to reduce the farm’s water consumption.

» We work on energy efficiency to decrease our energy usage.

» We are actively involved in the local community with sponsorship and practical measures such as fishery conservation, etc.
